And in other art related news, in my drawing class today, my professor said that my drawing style is ‘weird’ and reminded him of Bosch. So when I got back from class I went and looked him up.

I feel so ‘8D’ and weirded out at the same time. He said it was something about the way I shaded and ‘implied detail,’ I’m not really seeing it, but still XDDD.
Maybe I’ll post some of the stuff from my drawing pad…later. X_X Well, we’re just doing a lot of still lifes right now…like today we drew a pile of shoes. So far in class, we've drawn peppers, leaves, and shoes. A lot of shoes X_X (WHY AM I REMINDED OF THAT SHOES SONG)

And I have painting class tomorrow, we are still doing this one still life where we can only use neutral colors (so far in painting class, we drawn LOTS of still lifes -- a whole bunch of random objects arranged on a table -- and one nekkid person). I never really realized how many colors you can make with neutrals! I used primary colors a lot before. And my professor said that I painted like Van Gogh XD I think it’s because I can’t paint any other way. He also told me check out Soutine ([link]) and his wiki page doesn’t really have any of his more exciting works, but you can google image search him if you’re interested. A lot of his paintings are really warped -- like looking at expressionist landscapes through a glass cup or something XD yeah.

Also…Hetalia episode 2 <333333333 Oh Italy, you charmer XDD I found that part really funny for some reason… German was just like “Oh look the door is open” and Italy goes out, flirts with a couple girls, and goes back in XD haha I feel like I can’t fangirl this properly right now because I already used up my fangirl juices (wat, think batteries) over on lj.

But still <3333333333 and Chibitalia is like ‘akfh;lkhdjg; why so cute whywhyyyyyy my teeth will rot ahhhhhhh.’

XD I kind of want to see Germany and Grandpa Rome met up…and have manry interactions of unimpeachable manriness.
